Fascinating gardens of Cracow

2. Stanisław Lem Science Garden

Stanisław Lem Science Garden is the first sensory educational park in Poland.

On six hectares of open space, visitors can use more than 110 interactive devices demonstrating various laws of physics. The aim of this exhibition is learning through play for children and adults. Installations are located in five zones: mechanics, hydrostatics, optics, acoustics and magnetism

3. The Czapski Garden

The Museum of Emeryk Hutten-Czapski is the largest and at the same time the oldest branch of the National Museum in Krakow. It is located in the stylish Czapski Palace, built in 1884. At the rear of this neoclassical building, visitors can admire the lapidarium and the unique garden, which has retained its 19th-century character.

In the garden we find rich flora, but also 19th-century sculptures such as “Morpheus” (1889) by the sculptor Teofila Certowicz.
In the Lapidarium, we can see the the fragments of Krakow buildings (including a pinnacle from St. Mary’s Church from the 14th century).
