MY CAREER

My name is Guilherme Bezerra Alves and I started my career at age 16, working at Demax as an administrative assistant for just over a year. I had as main attribution the launch and organization of notes, which were later passed on to the financial sector. Obtaining a great learning about how to work in the administrative area and how to behave in the business environment.

During this period I started my studies at the Senai, in electrotechnology, and after leaving my first job I begin the technical course in electronic, at Etec. Having obtained second place in the entrance exam, I excelled in the math part.

After completing both courses, I participated in the selection process of the fifth biggest pharmaceutical company in the world, the Sanofi. Where I stood out for being participatory in group dynamics, speaking English and having two outstanding courses. There were more than 100 candidates and only three job vacancies for the technical area.

When I was working in this French multinational I had as main attributions to the preparation of reports and the maintenance of equipment of the sector of quality. I excelled in forwarding to my superior, a report describing the economy that the company would have if replaced the current fluorescent lamps to Led lamps. Shortly afterwards all the lamps of the company were replaced, with an initial investment of 500 thousand reais.

In the same year, I passed for the fourth time in the entrance examination of the Federal Technological University of Paraná, in the Electrical Engineering course, having obtained the sixth highest score in this occasion, again highlighting in math since I got right 39 out of 45 questions.

Until then, the fact that I had not entered the third grade before is my greatest regret, since I had been passed several times at a great public university, but at the time I was afraid because of the distance I would have from my family.

The moving to the city of Cornelio Procopio-PR, where I did my graduation, was the event that was most marked me. Because it was a place where initially I did not have friends or relatives, to spend 40 hours of classes a week and to have to learn to do household chores like cooking and washing clothes.

In the first half of last year, I was working on my internship in Maringá-PR at the company Balfar. Having as main attributions the preparation of budgets, development of electric projects of photovoltaic systems and customer attendance.

During the internship and the baccalaureate, I was quickly recognized for being the best student in the subjects of calculation, for being participatory in the tasks in group and for the focus on the objectives.

On occasions when I was not studying or practicing relevant activities, I usually read books related to the investigation (I am currently reading: It can’t always be caviar), watch series and read news on national and international politics.

Since the beginning of my career, I have always been interested in the financial area because I have facility with numbers and I enjoy working with administrative services. I consider myself qualified to work in Johnson & Johnson’s financial, controlling and auditing sectors, fully corresponding with all expectations placed on me.

I am the only one in my family to have graduated from a federal university and I want to be the first to study a postgraduate at a public university, taking a MBA in Controllership and Finance from USP or a MBA in Project Management also from USP, both courses related to financial and economic area.

In addition to my studies, I would like my friends and family to put me as an example to followed, for having achieved my goals, being ethical and always doing my best in all the work places. My main life proposal is to have a successful career.
