I became my own inspiration

When I was little I looked up to my mom. I soon learned that parents aren’t as perfect as you want them to be and I soon distrusted everyone. I didn’t look up to anyone, I had no hero.

Then I realized that the only hero you should ever have is yourself. If you get let down, there is no one but yourself to blame. You brought the disappointment upon yourself and now you’re likely to change. Every day I try to be a better person than I was the day before.

I try to do a little bit better, be a little more loving, a little more kind and thoughtful every day. Now I look up to who I will strive to be when tomorrow is today, when it is time to seize the day.

I began speaking my mind and crossing lines. I became unafraid and was awakened from my corporate-induced sleep. My eye opens wide, I can see the world for what is really is. It’s an illusion. None of this physical realm we call Earth is going to matter when our spirits depart from our vessels.

I became my own inspiration and I began to take my art seriously. I started investing time and money and energy into my art. I make wire wrapped stone and crystal jewelry, but I don’t sell it. I don’t believe in currency. I trade them. I have traded them for all sorts of things: food, a hat, a dog.

I am determined to be someone’s hero to show them that they only need to find their place, their calling in life, spreading light, energy, joy, and good vibes to everything they may come in contact with. People will begin seeing that they are stardust and so am I and so are you. We are multi-dimensional beings having a shared human experience.

We are the universe experiencing itself. We are conscious beings and when everyone vibrates with the same energy on the same frequency, the results will be spectacular. I just hope that everyone can wake up in time. No more sleeping. We need to make a stand for what’s right for humans and the planet and the universe. We need to unite and rise, together providing a united front.

I am my own inspiration, my own hero. I will continue to guide myself on my own path to being a better person than I was the day before, treating everything with the wonder, respect, and praise it deserves. Namaste to all. I honor where the universe resides in you as well as it does in me. There is work to be done: a planet (and possibly the human race) to save.
