Everything is political

I was reading a book, "If I want to change the world" by sociologist Sabrina Fernandes and I came across one of the chapters, which was about class consciousness and neutrality and how neutrality ceases to be neutral, automatically.

In the social question we have two proportions, the micro proportions (which involves individuality) and the macro (which involves the collective, the collective, the population), the micros questions they have little difference in relation to the macro, so it is stifled by these tendencies, because they have small differences and individuality.

This affects also the question of awareness, in case we have class consciousness, we have two types of it, consciousness "in itself" and "for itself", consciousness "in itself" is the individual interest of the worker in relation to capital, this awareness is important, so that we can build awareness "for themselves" that the collective and that can give a significant change to the proletarian class, hence you ask: "Does this have to do with politics?" I’ll say yes to you! Of course it has and this policy of uniting the proletarian class towards its emancipation has side, has bias, the depoliticization only hinders the process of emancipation of the proletarian class.

Only consciousness "for itself" can give significant changes, mainly so that the working class does not depoliticize, moreover, depoliticization is the way to gag, so we must be careful so also class awareness is important, one of the greatest examples of this lack of awareness is people in our class, congratulating the world’s newest richest man, I think you know who he is, saying that he deserved it being that his riches are maintained through the analogous slavery of people in the process of extracting lithium and a man who was already part of a family that benefited from apartheid in South Africa, This is what depoliticization and lack of awareness generates, so depolitization is very dangerous, because it is the way to the crocodile’s mouth.

You don’t position yourself politically in the face of the barbarism of this system, or say you’re neutral, you’re basically fed it and even worse, you don’t position yourself is the same as being on the stronger side, the ruling class, why we must stop depoliticizing things, even its most basic choice type, favorite music or a football team is a political action, or a social construction of its, indeed politics is present in everything so it is important, in fact we are rational political beings, thinking beings, this neutrality I have even dealt with in a recent article of mine, depoliticization generates post-politics, which unfortunately is very present in this contemporary society, depoliticization is a trap and a beautiful effective tool of liberal democracy, or the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie.

Awareness, especially class awareness is a way of seeking for the freedom of the working class, politicization is natural in human civilization and to form awareness of this being, all situations of human life is political, so maintaining neutrality is misplaced, in addition to anti awareness and anti-thinking and critical look.

Everything around us was made by political decisions, their labor rights were made by political decisions and workers' strikes, a condominium was made by political decisions, their paved street is and was a political decision, if you walk on the street and feel fear this is a political problem and has to be solved as one and not just an administration problem, we have to take a critical look at the current situation so that we can change it, but it will not be with policies aligned with the bourgeoisie, When I say this, I mean the "political" spectra aligned with it.

Politicization is important for the proletarian class, indeed without it, we will continue in the status quo.
