My Friend Maria Wants to Buy a New Phone

The present phone refuses to work

My friend Maria barges into my house. We are having a small get-together and she is an invitee too. No “hello! how are you?” She makes a noise and tells everyone she is upset because I made her buy a new iPhone and it is not working and she is addicted to a phone and to suggest whether she should buy the new model iPhone 12 or 13.

She was in no mood to buy a new phone again in such a short period of time as phones were expensive but she said that she was used to the camera and features. She went on complaining. All this drama was taking place then instinctively I reached out for the phone.

I took the phone from her and put it on my charger and within half an hour the phone had charged to 50% and she used it till the evening while she was here and it was working fine.

“I cannot believe it!” She exclaimed! I put it on charge and went out and for two hours it was on charge but it did not work.

Just then her daughter called to speak to her —

The phone certainly did not charge. We were all in splits of laughter.
