How to Take Criticism

What most people do not understand is that criticism is not there to make you look and feel bad it’s there to help you improve and become better at whatever you were doing. There is a difference between making fun of people and trying to help them get better. I think one thing in life that everyone should learn is not trying to always bring other people down but to try help them get better. I think that this will also help benefit you because one of the ways to get better is by teaching people what you know.

Some people find joy out of being better and making fun of people. They think that trash talking is fun and makes them better. Now I’m not going to be a hypocrite because I do trash talk. There are to occasions that I will trash talk someone and those two are if someone is being mean and think that they are super good but have no skills to back up or if I do it to my friends because I only mean it in a joking way. I feel like you should not talk trash unless you have something to back up.

Now criticism is letting someone know that they are not good and need to do some practicing to get better. Sometimes it can come off mean and rude but in all reality some people just want to help other learn to get better. For example I play a lot of FPS and I always want to help my brother get better and sometimes it sounds like I’m just talking trash on his aim but I only say it so he can do something about it.

I like to be better than people I don’t know but I always like to have my closer friends and family to be better than me. Thank you for reading my rant. Have a wonderful day!
